How to open both eyes when looking into viewfinder?

Hi guys. My right eye is my master eye and I don't know why, I have to squint and close my left eye when looking into the viewfinder. Can anyone tell me how do I train myself to open both eyes when using the viewfinder? I am using a DSLR. Thanks.

  1. Anyone can do it with a little practise regardless of what viewfinder camera you have, I first learnt how to do it at school when we had to spend ages looking through a microscope and the school teacher advised us on the skill that most microscope users learn. You just practice keeping both eyes open but trying to concentrate with only your right eye, if you do it often enough and long enough your brain will start to ignore the signals it gets from your left eye. It's avery handy skill to learn especially when your waiting for a particular shot. EDIT: A bit like this really http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/4218089389_255258a840_o.jpg By coincidence I've just uploaded an old slide of mine to illustrate the use of two cameras for 3D photography.
